MAJOR ROAD WORKS
Durham Road (Londonderry Bridge), Stockton (TS19 0DE)
Works have commenced on the replacement of Londonderry Bridge on Durham Road as part of the overall flood alleviation scheme in the area. As a result Durham Road will be closed between Londonderry Road and Richmond House from 23 May 2016 for approximately 7 months. Diversion routes are signed on site.

Myton Way, Ingleby Barwick (near TS17 5GW)
As part of a wider project to reduce peak period congestion in the centre of Ingleby Barwick, Myton Way is to be dualled from the Tesco roundabout to Broom Hill, and the Sandgate roundabout will be replaced with traffic signals. Ingleby Way will also be dualled from the Tesco roundabout to Barwick Way roundabout. The works commenced on Monday 29 February 2016 and will take approximately 40 weeks to complete. Approaches to the roundabouts at Broom Hill Avenue and Myton Way continue to be reduced from 2 lanes to 1 lane (Premier TM 01388 815661). Off-peak lane restrictions will be used at the Myton Way/Blair Avenue/Ingleby Way and Ingleby Way/Barwick Way roundabouts.
To allow final carriageway surfacing, a temporary closure of Ingleby Way eastbound carriageway will be in operation on Monday 28th November & Tuesday 29th November. The closures will be carried out off-peak between 9.30am and 2.45pm only.
A temporary closure will be in operation on Broom Hill Avenue, between Sandgate roundabout and Hillbrook Crescent from Wednesday 30th November – Friday 2nd December. All closures will be carried out off-peak between 9.15am and 2.45pm.
To accommodate the raising of levels at Sandgate junction, a temporary closure of Myton Way at the Sandgate junction will then be in operation from 7pm on Friday 2nd December until 8pm on Sunday 4th December. Northbound traffic to be diverted left via The Rings and southbound traffic to be diverted left via Broom Hill Avenue.
A174 Parkway Extension, Thornaby
As a result of Costain/AECOM carrying out defect rectification works, temporary lane closures (Hattons TM 01388-775542) will be in operation on A174 Parkway Extension and A174/A19 interchange from Monday 10 October 2016 for approximately 10 weeks. The works will be carried out between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Fridays only.
EVENTS
Boundary 500 Santa Run
The Annual Boundary 500 Santa Run Motorcycle event is due to take place on Saturday 26 November 2016. The event will be managed by the Police via rolling road closures. The ride is expected to leave Thornaby Town Centre at 11.30am following the route; Thornaby Road passing over the A66, Bridge Road, St John’s Crossing, A1305 Riverside, Church Road, Stockton High Street, Bridge Road, Mandale Road then heading into Middlesbrough at approx 12pm via Wilderness Road and Newport Roundabout. Short delays can be expected along the route during this time.

A1185 Seal Sands Link Road, Seal Sands (near TS21 1TX)
As a result of NPG/Balfours carrying out HV electric cabling and jointing works, temporary rolling traffic signals (Premier TM 07894 586899) will continue to be in operation on Seal Sands Road, between the roundabout and the National Grid substation, from Monday 17 October until Wednesday 30 November 2016. Off-peak working only.
A178 Seaton Carew Road, Port Clarence (near TS2 1UB)
As a result of Balfour Beatty/NPG carrying out electric cabling and jointing works, temporary rolling traffic signals (Premier TM 07894586899) will be in operation on Seaton Carew Road, near Saltholme Nature reserve, from Tuesday 8 November until 30 November 2016. Off-peak working only.
A135 Yarm Road, Eaglescliffe (TS16 0BU)
As a result of SBC/Tarmac carrying out carriageway resurfacing/patching works, temporary traffic signals (Tarmac 07484044061) will be in operation at the Yarm Road/Station Road junction on Sunday 27 November 2016 between 8am and 3pm.
A67 Urlay Nook Road, Eaglescliffe (TS16 0JN)
As a result of BT carrying out cabling works, temporary traffic signals (A-Plant lux 03700 500792) will be in operation on Urlay Nook Road, at the junction with South View, on Sunday 27 November 2016 for 1 day only. Signals to be manned whilst in use.
B1265 Allerton Balk/Everingham Road, Yarm (TS15 9FQ)
As a result of SBC/Highway Construction Services carrying out the construction of a new road/roundabout, temporary traffic signals (A-Plant Lux 01642 673344) will continue to be in operation on Allerton Balk/Everingham Road from Monday 17 October until 5 December 2016. Signals only in use as and when required.
B1275 Belasis Avenue, Billingham TS23 1EY
As a result of Fulcrum carrying out essential gas works, temporary traffic signals (TM Lincs 07961 536804) will be in operation on Belasis Avenue, adjacent to the new SNF oil and gas plant, from Tuesday 22 November until Monday 5 December 2016. Signals to be manned at peak times.
B1264 Worsall Road, Kirklevington (TS15 9PE)
As a result of Wearmouth Construction carrying out rising main works, temporary traffic signals (Barrier TM 01740 650500) will be in operation on Worsall Road, near old Tall Trees entrance, from Monday 28 November until Friday 2 December 2016. Signals to be manned at peak times.
Central Avenue, Billingham (TS23 4JA)
As a result of Fulcrum Utilities carrying out essential gas works, temporary lane closures (TM Lincs 01914164214) will be in operation on Central Avenue, between Cowpen Lane and Station Road, from Friday 11 November until Friday 16 December 2016.
Cowpen Bewley Road, Billingham (near TS23 4JA)
As a result of Pascon/MBS Limited installing new electric cables, temporary traffic signals (Road Traffic Solutions – 01724 848246 / 07918 602409) will be in operation on Cowpen Bewley Road, between Macklin Avenue and the tomato factory, from Monday 31 October until Wednesday 30 November 2016.
