Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Light Up Someone’s Christmas with Bentley Newcastle and Cash for Kids Mission Christmas

As the pace of life grows more frenetic and the demands on our time increase, family and friends become ever more important.

That’s why we are collaborating with cash for kids mission christmas to make Christmas that little bit more special for some of the most deserving people in our community. And we’re inviting customers, friends and family to help us support this fantastic cause.

OUR CHRISTMAS MISSION

We’re aiming to fill the enormous boot of a Bentayga with presents that our friends at cash for kids can then distribute for their mission Christmas campaign. To help us in our mission, why not buy an extra toy when you are out Christmas shopping and donate it to our appeal, it will bring a smile to a child’s face and really make their Christmas day a special one.

ABOUT CASH FOR KIDS

Mission Christmas is run by Cash for Kids and supported by Bauer Radio’s regional stations. In 2015 the appeal generated upwards of £13 million in gifts and donations which were distributed to more than 300,000 disadvantaged kids across the UK.

With 1 in 3 children across the UK living in poverty this December, for many families Christmas is simply a luxury they can’t afford. This year’s Mission Christmas aims to beat last year’s fundraising total and help make sure it can help as many children as possible.

Cash for Kids works with thousands of grass-root organisations across the UK who support disadvantaged children (0 – 18 years). Mission Christmas works closely with social workers, head teachers and the emergency services who will nominate families in crisis to be supported by the appeal.

AN EXTRAORDINARY TRADITION OF GIVING BACK

Bentley has long supported the local community in Cheshire through charitable donations, staff volunteering and recently, through its partnership in the creation of a new university technical college.

The company set up the country’s first corporate Rotary Club to encourage its employees to volunteer in the community, and trainees at Bentley spend one day a year volunteering with the Princes Trust. Every year, the company makes donations through the Cheshire Community Foundation, helping grass-roots organisations like Barnies Community Centre, which provides invaluable support to local people of all ages.
