Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea at Dobbies Morpeth store
Not your average garden centre, Dobbies is hosting a special afternoon tea during the Platinum Jubilee weekend, fit for the Queen.
Guests can enjoy a royal treat in celebration of 70 years of the Queen on the throne. The afternoon tea will be available at Dobbies Morpeth from Friday 3 June to Sunday 5 June, perfect for indulging in style.
The afternoon tea will include a selection of freshly made sandwiches, elegant savoury treats and a traditional cream scone. Customers will also have the choice between a pot of tea or coffee. A vegan option will also be available during the event, offering delicious vegan savouries, a selection of cakes and a vegan twist on Dobbies’ famous scones.
Children are welcome to come along to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, with the choice of their very own afternoon tea, with sandwiches, healthy snacks and tasty treats, plus a fruit juice. They can also decorate their own crown.
Guests can upgrade their Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea with a mini bottle of Prosecco, perfect for making a toast to the longest reigning monarch in British history.
Everyone who attends the event in the Morpeth store can be in with a chance of winning a Dobbies’ giftcard worth £100. Guests are invited to share a photo of themselves on Facebook or Instagram enjoying their Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea with #DobbiesJubileeCrowns.

It’s the perfect spread to enjoy with friends and family, and a great event to add into the bank holiday weekend.

The Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea will be available in 66 Dobbies stores from 3-5 June. Prices for the adults start from £13.50 per person and the children’s afternoon tea can be enjoyed for £7.50.
