Lumley Castle Hotel, Chester-Le-Street, is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, with a second Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Sunday, 13 September.

Not only will families enjoy afternoon tea, but there will also be storytelling, songs from the story’s characters, a children’s sing-a-long and magic from the castle’s own Mad Hatter.

“Our first Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, earlier this month, was an absolute success,” said Nola Collinson, Director of Sales and Marketing at four star Lumley Castle Hotel.

“And this one looks set to be even better. Lumley Castle is a story book setting at the best of times, so where better to celebrate one of the best children’s stories ever written?”

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will run from 2.30pm until 5.30pm and tickets are priced at £15.50 per child and £20 per adult.

For more information or to book tickets visit www.lumleycastle.com or contact the hotel on 0191 389 1111.
