The Biography of Donald Trump

Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York City. His father, Frederick Trump, was a real estate developer, and his mother, Mary Trump, was a homemaker. Trump attended the New York Military Academy and went on to study at Fordham University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, he joined his family’s real estate business, becoming president of the Trump Organization in 1971.

Trump made a name for himself in the 1980s and 1990s as a flamboyant and controversial real estate developer in New York City. He built Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, which became his signature property. Trump also acquired casinos and hotels, including the Taj Mahal and Plaza Hotel. In the early 2000s, he ventured into reality television with “The Apprentice,” where he became known for his catchphrase, “You’re fired!”

Trump’s entry into politics began in 2015 when he announced his candidacy for President of the United States as a Republican. His campaign was marked by controversial statements, including calling for a ban on Muslims entering the country and promising to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. Despite facing criticism and backlash, Trump won the Republican nomination and went on to defeat Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.
