A £4m state-of-the-art building exclusively for digital and creative businesses has signed up its first tenant.
Digital platform SwapBuy was first through the doors when viewings started at Boho Five and within a matter of minutes had selected their new office.
SwapBuy CEO Russell Jameson said: “I have been watching the build closely and registered my interest some month’s ago.
“The moment I walked into Boho Five I immediately knew this was where I wanted SwapBuy to be located.

SwapBuy is a digital platform that aims to make swapping, selling and buying affordable and easy and Russell has worldwide ambitions for the brand.
The six-floor Boho Five business unit will be officially opened shortly, with SwapBuy also set to launch later this month.
At over 24,000 sq. ft the building, situated in Middlesbrough’s Boho Zone, Middlehaven offers office accommodation for up to 50 small and medium sized enterprises exclusively in the digital and creative sector. Office sizes range from 100 – 1000 sq. ft.

“That’s a ringing endorsement of the Boho ethos, which is really helping to driving this latest phase in the regeneration of Middlehaven and the town as a whole.
“This is just the start of what will undoubtedly be an exciting breeding ground for enterprises specialising in cutting-edge technology and I look forward to watching it grow over the coming months and years.”
Boho Five has been developed in partnership by the Homes and Communities Agency and Middlesbrough Council through European Regional Development Fund and HCA investment, it will operate in close partnership with DigitalCity Business.
