From Monday to Friday, five star Seaham Hall Hotel, County Durham, is providing a two course business lunch in its two AA rosettes Byron’s Bar and Grill restaurant for £18.50.
The menu, created by executive chef Simon Bolsover and his team includes starters such as salmon pastrami with choucroute and rye or guinea-fowl terrine with parsnip textures.
These are followed by a choice of main courses including beer brined short rib with baked celeriac and a caper vinaigrette, Shetland mussels with garlic and cream and skinny fries or onion squash and goat’s cheese tart with watercress.
Those with a sweet tooth can then opt for, either, gingerbread, pear and buttermilk ice cream, sticky toffee and orange trifle or a selection of artisan cheese.
For those wishing to have a small informal business meeting before or after lunch, the hotel lounges offer an ideal environment with free Wi fi throughout.
