Consultation on Publication Draft Local Plan Begins

STOCKTON-on-Tees Borough Council is inviting people to get in touch with their views about the Publication Draft Local Plan.

The draft plan sets out a vision for the future development of Stockton-on-Tees Borough in relation to housing, the economy, community facilities and infrastructure up to 2032.

The six-week public consultation will close on Monday, 6 November 2017.  During the consultation period a number of drop-in sessions will be held throughout Stockton-on-Tees, as follows:

Councillor Bob Cook, Leader of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, said: “I would urge people to get involved in the consultation because when adopted, the Local Plan will be the starting point for consideration of planning applications for the development of land.

“We want to have a Local Plan in place to put us in a strong position to manage future development, deliver our priorities for the Borough and make Stockton-on-Tees a great place to live and work.”
