Manhattans Coffee House & Bar will now offer a lunchtime delivery service to businesses in the town, as well as offering its meeting room facilities free to business owners.
As part of its new service, Manhattans has added a range of ‘designer salads’ including sweet chilli and lime chicken salad, and other meals, which will also be available for delivery.
The bar, which is located on Bondgate, specialises in serving unique New York-themed cocktails and mocktails, a range of sandwiches, food platters, cakes and desserts as well as afternoon tea.
Debbi Moore, co-owner of Manhattans Coffee House & Bar, said: “At Manhattan we offer much more than just a coffee house and bar; we are very business focused and can cater to the needs of many people. By expanding our service, we are now able to offer a range of healthy options to businesses and their employees, in an efficient and timely manner.
“Our town centre presence also means that we have an ideal location for hosting meetings or social events, with special discounts available for our town’s business people, as well as cater for the visit of clients.”
Manhattans was established at the start of the year after Debbi and her husband Dave invested £30,000 in the complete refurbishment of the premises, as well as created three bar staff roles.
It comprises a separate, dedicated sports room which shows all major sporting events on a 12ft screen, together with a downstairs bar area and seating areas.
Mrs Moore added: “It has been an enjoyable and successful year for Manhattans, culminating in this latest expansion. We have already received positive feedback, so hopefully, should demand continue, I will be in a position to create further jobs and extend the catering service.”
Manhattans Coffee House & Bar is open six days a week, Monday–Saturday, and serves a variety of cocktails, draught and craft beers, as well as soft and hot drinks and light snacks.
