Top Darlington law firm, Latimer Hinks Solicitors, has retained its ‘Band 1’ status in the Private Wealth Law category in the Chambers High Net Worth 2021 Guide for the fifth consecutive year.

The prestigious guide identifies the world’s leading high net worth advisers and each firm is placed according to their geographic location and firms are ranked according to tiers.  For half a decade, Latimer Hinks has the only law firm ranked in its location, Middlesbrough and surrounds.

Chambers High Net Worth Guide is bespoke to high net worth individuals and features listings and information about many of the top accountancy and tax firms, private banks, wealth management firms and multi-family offices. The guide is used by family offices and professional advisers as a key reference point for private wealth management work and related specialisms.

The guide contains reviews of the firm and its notable practitioners. One source said: “Latimer Hinks understands that their clients need a combination of leading-edge advice, pragmatism, and empathy.”

Managing director Elizabeth Armstrong and former chief executive Anne Elliott were highlighted as notable practitioners.

Of Elizabeth Armstrong, and interviewee said: “She is very good, very dedicated and puts a lot of time into what she’s doing,”  while another source says that she “is everything a trusted adviser should be: highly professional, current in her knowledge and its application, empathetic and efficient.”

Natalie Palmer, a director of Latimer Hinks, said: “It is an incredible honour to have been listed in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide for the fifth year, and is a testament to the exceptional work our highly qualified team does.

“As one of the largest private client teams in the whole of the North East and North Yorkshire with fourteen expert advisors, ten of whom are fully-accredited members of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), we take our practice seriously, and it is marvellous that this has once again been recognised by Chambers.

“We provide city-level expertise to even the most rural areas of the region, and act for a diverse range of clients which include landed estates, wealthy families and business owners, farmers, entrepreneurs and banks. We offer a high level of service to all our clients, regardless of wealth.

“We will not sit on our laurels and will continue to work hard to ensure we retain our Band 1 status in the Chambers guide again next year.”
