Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Oct 10, 2018

Darlington Town Under 18s has been backed for success by Miller Homes North East as the housebuilder has been unveiled as its latest supporter.

Thanks to a sponsorship donation the team has funded new training kits for the next two seasons, including tracksuits, t-shirts, shorts and socks.

The team plays in the Durham County League with its home games at Eastbourne Sports Complex, near to Miller Homes’ Hunters Fold development in Middleton St George.

Miller Homes is proud to support local sports teams and clubs in the North East of England, which create opportunities for people to participate in activities promoting positive health and wellbeing.

Andrew Somerville, associate sales director at Miller Homes North East, said: “Darlington Town Under 18s is doing a fantastic job of bridging the gap between junior and men’s football, which we’re pleased to be supporting for the next two years. After a successful 2017-18 season, we wish the team the best of luck in their current campaign.”

Steven Johnson, manager of Darlington Town Under 18s, added: “As a former Darlington player I’m really passionate about the team, and without support from companies like Miller Homes we wouldn’t be able to open up opportunities for keen footballers in the town. The donation made is a fantastic boost for the team and our new training kits look great.”

Hunters Fold from Miller Homes offers buyers a varied choice of three, four and five-bedroom high-quality new homes, with prices starting from £182,950*. Also in the area is The Oaklands in School Aycliffe, offering three, four and five-bedroom homes from £164,950*.
