A RESIDENTIAL service in Middlesbrough supporting people with learning disabilities is on a mission to find staff who’ve played a part in their history over the past quarter of a century.

As Greenford Walk, part of national disability charity Walsingham Support, celebrates 25 years of making a difference to people’s lives, the search is on for the people who made this work possible since the service opened its doors in 1992.

Angela Simpson, Locality Manager at the service, said: “Reaching 25 years as a service is a huge milestone and we want to hold an event that really celebrates the history of Greenford Walk.

“Having people there that have been involved in our work during the past 25 years to share their memories would be the icing on the cake.”

A party will be held on Thursday, February 2 at the Ormesby Club and Institute, 33 High Street, Ormesby, Middlesbrough, TS3 0LZ.
