Dundas Halloween Competition Winners

To round off the month long Halloween festival at Middlesbrough’s Dundas Shopping Centre and Indoor Market, Dundas Market Manager David Harris presented the prizes for two in-centre competitions.

Ryan aged 8 from Billingham won the Name the Pumpkin Competition when he correctly guessed the name we chose for our pumpkin was Jason.  He and Mum Rachelle were passing through Dundas Shopping Centre being ‘nosey’, when they saw the competition and entered.  Ryan’s favourite thing about Halloween is all the treats he gets!

Ethan aged 5 from Middlesbrough won the Find The Count’s Number Competition.  He called in to collect his winning vouchers fresh from scoring eight goals for his soccer team.  He correctly identified the number the Count was looking for was 38!  Ethan, whose favourite part of Halloween is carving pumpkins, and his Nan were shopping in the Indoor Market when he took on the challenge, and he is now wondering what to spend his winning vouchers on.

Every year Dundas Shopping Centre celebrates a month’s long Halloween festival with dedicated shops, special goods, a Halloween market, spook-tacular decorations and a kids’ creepy crawly petting zoo.  Further information about the Dundas Shopping Centre and Indoor Market at www.dundasshoppingcentre.co.uk
