North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Ecommerce growth agency, Be Found Be Chosen enters a new era with NE1 office

Following a strong year in 2021, Newcastle-based ecommerce growth agency Be Found Be Chosen is facilitating further expansion with a new city-centre office, the launch of a new paid social service, and several heavyweight North East client wins.

The agency, which works with ecommerce retailers to scale their online revenue using expertise in search, social, and ecommerce marketing worked remotely throughout 2020/21, but has now invested in further growth by moving to a newly fitted-out central Newcastle office.

Having sourced a unique location at Forth Banks railway arches, the office will further foster the team’s collaborative efforts and facilitate better performance for its growing client base.

As the agency headcount moves into double digits in 2022, the move to a dedicated space was requested by the team to enable better working both internally and with clients. A ‘drop-in’ office also helps further strengthen the agency’s unique culture, which is founded upon complete autonomy, transparency, and a flat management structure not often seen in similar businesses. This all adds up to a team who are well-equipped to do their best work for its client base. For 2022, this now includes social media advertising, enabling the company to better service a wider range of larger clients.

Head of Marketing, Jeff Lyall says “Since 2015, we’ve been very successful at driving revenue via search, but we’ve turned away so much business from customers who also wanted customer acquisition through social. We can now confidently influence revenue across a key range of channels, giving our clients a more rounded offering which is singularly focussed on ecommerce growth.”

The office move comes off the back of successful partnerships with several North East household names including Designer Childrenswear, Collectables, Newcastle Theatre Royal, and International Centre for Life.

Agency Founder Jennifer Freeman said, “Our team has been fantastic at delivering on our growth plans, and with our new city-centre office  and paid social service launching, I’m incredibly proud and excited to push on throughout 2022.”

“Many companies have decided to abandon the office entirely, but our culture enables us to make the best use of time together to be able to deliver on ambitious growth targets. From that regard, investment in a dedicated working space made complete sense for me. We’re a no-nonsense agency, so while you might see a few agency cliches, it’s ultimately about keeping our team happy, so they can deliver the absolute best work that they’re capable of.”

The agency is set to have a huge 2022, with some exciting names already in the pipeline as well as growth from new hires.
