Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) Craig Annan has joined the expanding company, which has reported figures showing strong revenue growth (now running at a record rate of £4.6m pa) in the year since the historic merger of jonathanfry plc and Easby Gale and Phillipson in February 2015.

Craig has been in the finance industry since 1994, becoming an IFA in 2002. He specialises in wealth management, retirement planning, estate planning and preservation, and corporate protection.

He said: “I joined Gale and Phillipson because of the firm’s long history of providing impartial advice and excellent reputation for putting clients’ needs at centre of their business philosophy. I’m very excited to be part of the team and to continue their work to create tailor-made choice of investment solutions to suit every client’s aspirations.”

Phil Morris, head of acquisitions and distribution, said: “With continued national growth in mind, we’re pleased to announce the further expansion of our Newcastle office and we are very pleased to welcome Craig to the team. Craig brings a wealth of IFA experience to the business and he will complement the existing IFA team very well.”
