Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Free course offers the skills needed to respond to an emergency

Dale & Valley Homes’ latest free training programme could prove to be a lifesaver.

On Friday, 17 February between 9am and 4.30pm residents can take part in a First Aid course at Mickle Grove Community Training Hub in Leeholme.

The Level 2 qualification will provide essential lifesaving skills for adults, juniors and infants, covering the role of a first aider and tools like CPR.

Kimberley Batey, Dale & Valley Homes’ Community Training Project Coordinator, said: “If there was ever a course to sign up for, this is it.

“None of us know when we could be faced with an emergency situation, and this programme will leave attendees feeling confident that they are equipped to respond to any unfortunate circumstances.”

Lunch will be provided and help to attend the sessions, including transport and childcare, can be arranged.

To reserve a place, which are allocated on a first come first served basis, contact Kimberley Batey on 01388 770 974 or email k.batey@daleandvalleyhomes.co.uk
