Halloween high tea at Pelton Grange Care Home

A SPOOKTACULAR celebration with Halloween high tea was held at a Chester-le-Street care home.

Staff at Pelton Grange Care Home, on Front Street, dressed as witches and skeleton pirates for the occasion.

Residents and visitors had the opportunity to get a face paint spider tattoo and enjoy home baked cakes and snacks.

Lindsay Sale-Thorn, activities coordinator at Pelton Grange Care Home, dressed as a witch for the day.

Resident Lillian Maxwell asked: “Did Lindsay park her broom outside?”

Lindsay said: “The residents helped us to decorate the home and were delighted to have Halloween tattoos of scary spiders.

“Everyone really enjoyed the day and had a lot of fun.”
