HTA Real Estate has identified County Durham as a prime area of opportunity for industrial occupiers after securing new leasehold instructions.
The industrial property specialists have been appointed by Stanley Black & Decker to market a 39,433sqft modern detached unit at Cathedral Park, Belmont Industrial Estate.
The appointment follows two deals completed by HTA on the estate towards the end of last year including the letting of a 50,345sqft warehouse to international parcel delivery company, DPD Group and the acquisition of a 105,000sqft unit for North East furniture manufacturer, Godfrey Syrett.
Developed approximately 10 years ago and positioned in close proximity to Junction 62 A1(M), 12 Cathedral Park is available by way of a lease assignment or sub lease. HTA have been appointed as regional agents alongside Stanley Black & Decker’s international advisors JLL.
HTA have also been instructed by Radford HMY Group Ltd to market a warehouse unit at Drum Industrial Estate in Chester le Street. The 41,417sqft modern high bay distribution facility sits on an extensive 7.5 acre site offering lorry parking or expansion up to circa 100,000sqft, and is available to lease.
Simon Hill, director at HTA Real Estate said: “We find that Durham is always a popular location particularly due to the excellent access to the A1 (M). Our new instructions offer a great deal of flexibility in terms of the length of leases available”.
“Both buildings are available by way of assignment or sub-letting of existing leases with circa 8 years remaining and break options in circa 3 years’ time. We can also offer security in the form of longer leases if required.”
