Keeping Safe and Sound at Sunderland International Airshow

There will be plenty for everyone to see and do on the ground at this year's Sunderland International Airshow

The fantastic musical line-up at this year’s launch event including recent local additions Ste Johnson and YUMA will ensure that there will be something for everyone at this years’ Sunderland International Airshow.

Sunderland City Council’s Airshow Director, Sue Stanhope said: “Safety of everyone is a key element when we put the airshow programme together. This includes visitors, exhibitors, staff and of course aircrew.

Due to the large crowds expected at the event visitors are encouraged to identify a specific meeting point on arrival at the event and attached the free wristbands to children and vulnerable adults. The wristbands, available from the information points and police officers, are designed to have contact telephone numbers written on the reverse.
