MIDDLESBROUGH’S elected Mayor Dave Budd has strengthened his Town Hall team as the town prepares for a period of unprecedented investment and growth.
Luke Henman has been appointed as Mayoral Assistant and will provide the Mayor with advice, support and research.
He will take up the new role with effect from Monday, January 30.
Mayor Budd said: “The number of staff at the centre of this organisation has been cut enormously over several years, but now Middlesbrough is embarking on an ambitious new phase in its history.
“We have big plans centred on inward investment, growth and regeneration, and I need support to help me deliver that political vision.
“I’m delighted to welcome Luke to the team, and I know he will make an important contribution to the life of the town.”
