Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Mind partner with Starbucks

Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind officially opened the new Starbucks on Cargo Fleet Lane on Thursday (14 June 2018).

The local mental health charity cut the ribbon to Middlesbrough’s first Starbucks drive-thru store and celebrated becoming the official charity for the organisation.

Bethany Dean, Communications Officer for Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known organisation just on our doorstep.

“We hope people who take some time out of their day to visit the store can have a chance to look at our leaflets and see what support is available for them as well as anyone they know who may be struggling”.

Rachael Dickinson, Store Manager for Starbucks Cargo Fleet Lane said: “I have chosen Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind because I feel passionate about mental health.

“Mental health affects many individuals which can have a huge impact on not only themselves but families as well. We are supporting the charity with donations, volunteers as well as allowing a place to come and find out more information about the help that is out there for people who are struggling. Let’s work together and break the stigma”.

You can visit the new drive-thru on Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough (opposite Thornton House) Monday-Saturday 6am-9pm and Sunday 8am-8pm.
