Malvern, 28th June 2019: The most advanced road-going Morgan ever produced is set to take-on the Goodwood Hillclimb at the 26th annual Festival of Speed. Next week, Morgan Plus Six test driver Shane Kelly will pilot the next generation of hand-built British sportscar up the 1.2-mile run through the Goodwood estate.

Two high-speed runs will take place each day, including a timed slot on Saturday, giving multiple opportunities for the new 3.0-litre, 335bhp turbocharged straight-six BMW engined Plus Six to stretch its legs.

Attendees of the world-famous Festival of Speed can visit the Morgan Motor Company at its stand, situated opposite the supercar paddock and hill climb start line. Another splendid example of the Plus Six roadcar will feature on the stand, alongside the all-new Morgan CX platform, which underpins the next generation sportscar.

Toby Blythe, Morgan Motor Company Head of Marketing said: “It is with great pride that Morgan Motor Company can represent the history and evolution of the automobile in Britain at the nation’s largest, and best loved automotive event. The Festival of Speed has become a national institution over the last quarter of a century, and we are delighted to have our newest, and most exciting sportscar going up the famed Goodwood hill.

“The Plus Six’s dynamic global debut is an incredibly significant event in the 110th year of Morgan’s wonderful history, and there is no greater place to present the car than the Goodwood Festival of Speed.”
