📣So excited to announce the next County Durham networking event tickets are now available!
⭐️VENUE: Hash Bar & Grill, Darlington, County Durham 11am -1pm 10th Dec, 2018
We have the top floor all to ourselves so plenty of space for you to set up shop 😉
⭐️THEME: 🎯The StratShop 🛍’
I am going to kickstart your 2019 planning by offering a fast paced 1-page planning workshop. I do not want any of you sailing into 2019 without a solid plan of where you are heading, and an idea of what you need to get you there. 😉 It will be intense, but very rewarding 🥇
And then to relax we will do a bit of Christmas shopping 👏🏾🛍
We will run a 12 days of Christmas event prior to the event to help you showcase your products/services/offers. I will open up slots within the facebook group (Join the community to find out more).
Ladies can then place their orders directly with you, and then purchase when they see you at the event (if you are attending). P&P savings galore!!!! 🤗
⭐️GUEST SPEAKER
I am super delighted to announce Sharon Sinclair Williams of The Social Gene Pool as our guest speaker.
I spoke with Sharon last night to find out a little bit more about her business journey. In Sharon’s words:
“I’ve been married for 26 years and have two grown up sons aged 24 and 21. I currently have a business with my eldest son. It is a marketing business with a strong focus on digital. We are 6 months in. I came to it after spending the last 3 years being digital manager for one of the region’s largest law firms and my son came from achieving a Zoology degree at Newcastle University. Prior to that I was ecommerce manager for a well-known North East fashion business. Before that I worked for a start up ecommerce business in London and before that I had a business I had grown to a 6 figure turnover from my spare bedroom and lost spectacularly mostly down to Google! How far back shall we go?!! I’ve had a very varied career path which started out qualifying as a chiropodist. I’m the mistress of re-invention. Never let anyone tell you, you can’t do something”.
⭐️CHRISTMAS IS A TIME FOR GIVING
I will be organising a food collection for a shelter of our choice (open to local shelter suggestions). Each attendee can bring minimum of 2 food items. Our lovely MIBA CEO, Leona Burton has kindly offered to donate a raffle prize in exchange.
Really excited for this!!!!!
Wear something sparkly!!!!! That’s not an order by the way, but it is Christmas after all 🤶🏽 🎄
🎤NOEEEEEEEL, NOOOOOEEL!!! 🎤

Sara Noel – Founder of Strategize Your Biz/Mums in Business Association – County Durham Networking Coordinator
What is MIBA?
Mums in Business Association was created in June 2017 after both sisters realised that there was a lack of online support for mums in business.
Being MIB’s themselves both Estelle & Leona realised the struggles and obstacles of running a business whilst being a full-time mum and wanted to create a place where other MIBs could gather, support each other and network.
Creating such a supportive tribe means that the women have specialists at their fingertips, should they require any help, and its usually FREE!
Since launching in June 2017 MIBA have been featured on BBC, appeared on Biz Mum TV and has been been interviewed by multiple mainstream magazine such as Mum Boss UK Best and Thrive Global Magazine.
2017 also saw MIBA launch a planner and a hit #1 in Amazons best sellers list with both of their books Mumpreneur on Fire 1 & 2!
2017 seen MIBA launch child friendly networking events which are now taking place in over 50 venues all over the globe including in Barbados and Australia!
