Screen Shot 2015-10-28 at 15.36.45The fundraising team at Marske Hall is celebrating as two events held at the Hall, on Saturday 17 October, raised almost £1,000 in total.

Margaret Thirlwell, Chair of the Fundraising Committee, said:

“The Craft Fair and Charity Band Night were a huge success and our dedicated team of volunteers pulled out all the stops to ensure the two events, held on the same day, ran smoothly. A big thank you to everyone who came along and supported our efforts.”

Preparations are now underway for two more events in early November:

Ceilidh – Friday 6 November, 7.30 pm start

‘Take your partner’ for the popular Ceilidh Dance at Marske Hall. A wonderful evening of Irish dance music led by the popular Compass Rose. A delicious homemade supper included in admission price.

Bring your own drinks.

Bake What Makes You Smile – Saturday 7 November, 10.30am – 1.30pm.

If you are missing the Great British Bake Off, why not join our young Fundraising volunteers Robyn and Tom in what could be the biggest bake sale ever to hit Marske!!

This family event will include other children’s activities to keep young hands and minds busy. Will also include Raffle,Tombola and refreshments.

Free admission, donations welcome.
