News from British Basketball League – All-Star Five – Week 7

This week’s lineup features a quartet of stars making their third appearances of the season.

Josh Wilcher (Plymouth Raiders)

The first of four players to make a third appearance in the lineup this season after Wilcher helped lead Plymouth to another home victory on Sunday. He put up a joint team-high 24 points and handed out nine assists for the second straight game in a convincing win.

Jeremy Smith (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)

Smith makes his season debut in the lineup after pouring in 27 points in 25 minutes of action with 10 of 13 shooting from the field. The American, who joined after the season opener, also weighed in with five rebounds and two assists to help the Eagles to victory.

Donte Nicholas (Plymouth Raiders)

A third appearance for Nicholas along with his Raiders team-mate after a near triple-double performance in his team’s win against Manchester. The forward had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, whilst also dishing out seven assists to continue his impressive form.

Brandon Peel (London Lions)

Peel also makes his third appearance in the current campaign after a strong display to help the league leaders, London Lions defeat Leicester Riders. He scored 19 points including 9 of 12 from inside the arc and just missed out on a double-double with nine boards in the 73-76 triumph.

Victor Moses (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)

One of the biggest stat-lines of the season was produced by Moses in his side’s 97-89 success against Worcester Wolves. The American forward posted 31 points on 70% shooting, whilst also grabbing 15 rebounds to go with three assists and a season-high four blocks to earn his third spot in the All-Star Five.
