NOMINATIONS are now open for the 2017/18 Civic Awards which honour local people, organisations and businesses that have made a real difference to their community.

The Civic Awards recognise the individuals and groups who selflessly dedicate their time and effort to make a positive impact to the lives of others.

The Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, Councillor Maurice Perry, said: “The Civic Awards honour the remarkable people, organisations and businesses who are committed to making a difference to local people.

“There are many unsung heroes who work tirelessly to help others across Stockton-on-Tees. If you think someone you know deserves an award, please nominate them for the Civic Awards. We hope as many people as possible get the opportunity to nominate someone special, so make sure you spread the word to your friends, family and community members.”

  • Service to Community Award (Individuals)
