Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

North East Firm Awarded Prestigious Partner Status by Vodafone UK

A NORTH EAST-based telecoms and IT company has been selected as one of the first companies to achieve the highest status in Vodafone’s new partner programme.

CCS, which works with household names across the UK, is the only company in the North East region to have been awarded the new Total Communications partner status, under the new Vodafone Partner Programme which went live this month.

Established in 1986, CCS supplied and installed the first mobile phone for business in the North East and currently provides a variety of B2B telecommunications and IT technology, including mobile phones, IT products and services, desktop support and telephony platforms.

To achieve Total Communications status, a provider must have invested over 1,000 hours of Vodafone capability training right across its business and demonstrate customer service excellence against a set of stringent criteria. Partners at this level, have the capabilities to deliver the highest level of support to customers looking to evolve and integrate their business communications and technology infrastructure using the entire range of Vodafone’s enterprise solutions.

Chris Lee, managing director of CCS, said: “To be the first provider in the North East to achieve this status is a great achievement and is recognition for the hard work of our staff. To achieve this we have had to undertake a large amount of training.  It shows our continued commitment to being at the forefront of the industry.

“Being awarded Vodafone Total Communications Status gives us the capacity to support, offer advice and recommend the right Vodafone products and services to our customers. More than anything it recognises our ability to deliver unified communications solutions and deliver great customer service.”

Nick Birtwistle, head of partners and alliances at Vodafone UK, added: “We’re delighted to welcome CCS, as a Partner with Total Communications Status, to the new Vodafone Partner Programme. Its team has shown great commitment and vision to leading a new era in communications and connectivity.  Digital infrastructure and communications technologies are changing the way organisations work and new capabilities are needed to support customers in the decade ahead.

“With a focus on deeper customer engagement and the development of new skills, our Partner programme provides a new platform for our partners to enhance their value propositions around key technology growth areas. We look forward to working closely with CCS as we help customers benefit from new and smarter ways of working.”
