Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

North East Horror Film Looking for Investment

Screen Shot 2015-08-05 at 13.32.54In 2014, a horror film that cost just £500, won three best film awards at the Stoke Your Fires, Portobello & Bram Stoker Festivals…now the north east producer involved, is looking for investment for his new film project via Kickstarter.
Dean Maynard from Durham, co-produced and acted in ‘The Legend of the Chained Oak’ film and now he is looking for investment, for his new film ‘Shadow Me’, the whole project, will be filmed in the region.
Dean wants to keep the project, as under wraps as he possible can, but what happens if someone ‘pretending’ to be your favourite TV ‘killer’ on a social media account, isn’t fake at all….

Dean said “We are looking to launch a new UK horror icon, one that will compete alongside Halloween, Elm Street and my all time favourite Scream. In 2014 we won three awards for a film, that cost just £500, imagine what we could do with a bigger budget”

The film crew will be using as many north east landmarks, locations and businesses as possible. This will be great for the area and will hopefully generate income, for all involved.
