Some residents of Northallerton will go to the polls later next month (May).
Electors within the Northallerton South ward will be voting in a by election to select a new Hambleton District Councillor, following the death of Tony Hall last month (March).
Four candidates are up for election: Caroline Anne Dickinson (The Conservative Party Candidate); Chris Pearson (Yorkshire First); Dave Robertson (UK Independence Party UKIP); and David Tickle (Labour Party).
The May 26 elections also see those electors in the Northallerton division vote to fill Councillor Hall’s North Yorkshire County Council seat – there are five candidates: Michael Chaloner (Green Party); Caroline Dickinson (The Conservative Party Candidate); Chris Pearson (Yorkshire First); Stephen Place (UK Independence Party UKIP) and David Tickle (Labour Party).
