Call management specialists, Lemon, has grown its business thanks to the extra reassurance provided by telephony provider, Odyssey Systems.

The success of the pioneering Stockton-based firm – which last year handled 2.5 million calls on behalf of 110 clients – is dependent upon the complete reliability of its communications network.

However, Lemon, which has taken up additional office space to accommodate its growing staff and client list, is well placed to take advantage of the close technical support offered by Odyssey.

For the company, which employs 80 people and last year generated turnover of £2.4million, is based in the Odyssey-owned building on Preston Farm Business Park.

Martin Anderson, Lemon’s joint Managing Director along with Lesley Wratten, said: “Odyssey has not only provided us with excellent and modern office space, allowing scope for future growth, but as our landlord their presence within the building offers extra reassurance, given how critical the telephony system is to our business.

“We are an innovative company and demand the same from the technology we use, allowing us to always guarantee a first-class service. The Odyssey system is robust, efficient and offers built-in resilience, which is perfect for our requirements.

“This, coupled with their excellent customer support and service, means Lemon is in the perfect place.”

The company provides a bespoke 24/7 365 day-a-year call management service, which ranges from switchboard services and emergency call outs to customer service and message taking.

Founded in 2003, Lemon established its operations centre on the first floor of the Odyssey building three years ago and has now expanded on to the ground floor – where it has created a reception and client area together with much-needed meeting and conference room facilities.

Mike Odysseas, Managing Director of Odyssey Systems, said: “This is a great example of two Tees Valley businesses working together to deliver a high standard of customer service.

“It is gratifying to know that Odyssey is not only supporting Lemon through the provision of a reliable and responsive industry-leading telephony system but has been able to offer this thriving company the space it requires for its continued expansion.”

Established in 1987, Odyssey Systems is an award-winning company and leading supplier of hosted telephony, cloud services and high-speed connectivity solutions to more than 2,500 customers in the UK.
