They are being invited to the fifth Parish Liaison meeting staged by Hambleton District Council on 19 November.

The meeting forms part of an ongoing drive to further strengthen the links between statutory bodies and communities across the district.   It aims to improve communications between District, County, Parish and Town Councils and Parish Meetings – and provide an opportunity to identify and discuss issues of common interest.

It will include a presentation from Mick Jewitt, Executive Director, Hambleton District Council, on the future of the District Council’s recycling service and Amy Ellis, NYCC’s Highways Customer Communications, on changes to the County Council’s Highways & Transportation services.

Following the formal meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss individual issues with District and County Council representatives.

Each Parish Council or Parish Meeting can send up to two representatives to the meeting which takes place at the Civic Centre in Northallerton from 7pm.
