Following a sold-out UK tour this March, Irish quartet Picture This have announced a further UK tour this Oct/Nov, with shows in Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. The tour comes ahead of their eagerly anticipated second album MDRN LV, which will be released 15 March 2019 on Island Records.
Releasing their self-titled debut album in 2017, Picture This soon captured the indie listener with their inescapable, catchy choruses, going triple platinum in Ireland and spending four weeks at the #1 album spot, whilst also topping the Streaming Chart for seven weeks. Quickly gaining a reputation for their captivating live performances, the band have sold over 400k tickets, including a sold-out stadium tour in Ireland last summer, and becoming the first ever act to sell out five nights at the 3Arena Dublin – topping the likes of U2 (4 nights) and Adele (3 nights).
Co-producing their forthcoming release with Jayson Dezuzio (Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors), MDRN LV demonstrates an unprecedented sonic venture for the band which threatens to be just as popular with their already massive fanbase – highlighted in the title-track, and first-dance contender ‘Dance Away With You’. Opening single One Drink, released at the end of 2018 already amassing over 4.5 MILLION streams on Spotify, with latest single If You Wanna Be Loved receiving over half a million streams in less than a month since its Jan 2019 release.
Picture This begin their Oct/Nov tour at the O2 Academy Glasgow, Thu 24 Oct 2019. Full dates below.
