A soft play group is having more fun thanks to a grant from Hambleton District Council.
The weekly session at the Galtres Centre in Easingwold for children up to school age has been on the go for over ten years, but the number of children attending has more than doubled over the last 18 months.
And with all the new developments in Easingwold and the surrounding areas it is expected the session will continue to grow.
The sessions regularly attract between 40 and 50 children and the organisers have had to increase the space for the session.
The £2,225 grant from the council’s Small Grant Scheme has contributed towards the centre replacing old equipment with new, providing the children with a more modern environment to play and interact with each other.
