COUPLES or friends who can’t wait for the weekend for some r and r can now take advantage of some relaxing down time – courtesy of a North East award-winning spa.

The package, which costs just £299 per couple, offers full spa use from 10am until 10pm on the day of arrival, including a special 40 minute treatment.
That means full access to the spa’s outdoor pools, its hydrotherapy pool and its Frigidarium – an ice plunge pool which has great health giving properties – along with its thermal suite.
Guests can choose from a tranquil Indian head massage, a reflex foot treatment or an intensely cleansing salt scrub – all designed to make the recipient feel rested and relaxed.
The deal includes dinner is Fusion – the spa’s acclaimed Asian restaurant – with a £25 pp allowance, followed by an overnight stay in a premier room.
Bookings for this special package can be made up until the end of April and is one of a number of fantastic spa breaks that Ramside Spa has available.
