FAMILIES looking for a way to keep their youngsters entertained this Easter should head for Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa where a colony of special birds are taking up residence.
A panto is not just for Christmas, which is why the County Durham hotel is staging the family-friendly The Penguins of Madagascar this Good Friday (3 April).
The show features penguins Skipper, Kowalksi, Rico and Private who join forces with King Julian and attempt to save the world from the evil genius Dave and is part of a full afternoon of entertainment at the hotel.
Tickets are £25.95 for adults and £17.95p for children, with doors opening at noon and lunch served at 12.30pm, followed by the pantomime and a disco. The afternoon ends at 4.30pm.
Claire Stephen, event manager at Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa, believes it will a great event for people of all ages.
“The Easter weekend can be a challenge to keep youngsters entertained so we thought this was the perfect solution,” she said.
“Both adults and children can enjoy this fantastic show – after all why should panto only be available at Christmas – and we’ve added in a whole host of other elements to make it a really memorable day.”
