The closing date for Ryedale District Council’s Community Grants fund is 8th February 2016 and community groups are urged to get their applications in as soon as possible to ensure any missing information can be collected by this deadline.
The scheme is open to any community or voluntary based organisation in Ryedale for a grant of 25% of project costs up to £5,000 for projects such as equipment or building improvements, community events and projects supporting local people in Ryedale.
The first round of applications in September 2015 allocated grant aid of £22,386 to 16 groups, with projects including the new Wintringham Community Hall, Ryedale Special Families and Sheriff Hutton Tennis Club.
