Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Screen Shot 2015-12-09 at 09.43.50ONE of the region’s most exciting young digital companies is recruiting 60 new members of staff.

Leading digital remarketing business SaleCycle is continuing to grow as it looks to expand its sales team.

The Sunderland based business, which offers shopping cart recovery services to online retailers including Virgin Atlantic, Ralph Lauren and Hertz, is hosting recruitment events across the region for new sales team members to be based at the Rainton Bridge office.

Echoing the business’ ‘Love what you do’ ethos, attendees can enjoy a few free drinks at Ramside Hall on December 15 from 6pm. As well as being able to get involved in a speed networking event, attendees will have SaleCycle staff on hand to answer questions and to get to grips with the global leader in email and on-site remarketing.

The event will be opened by SaleCycle founder and CEO Dominic Edmunds, who will share his vision for the business and plans for the future.

Mr Edmunds said: “It has been an incredible few years for SaleCycle, we’ve expanded rapidly since we started trading in 2010 thanks to our fantastic product – one that delivers impressive results for our customers – but behind that sits a really capable team that has driven the business to the success it is today.

“We have always attracted highly skilled people who can power the business further, and that’s what we’re on the look out for again. The region has a very strong talent pool, and we’re looking to tap into that through these recruitment events. These events aren’t just an opportunity for people to impress us, but for us to inspire them. Our company mantra is ‘Love what you do’, so we’re using the Love What You Sell events to show people our passion and drive for what we do and how they can become a part of it.”

The Rainton Bridge business, which is part of the Leighton Group, was recently named as the best UK tech company to work for by Businesss Insider based on the score on Glassdoor.com, a website where job hunters can view employee-written ratings of companies and their CEOs.  The recruitment drive follows another successful year for the business, which has won a string of new clients in 2015, including Lastminute.com, Kurt Geiger, Radisson Hotels and Hewlett-Packard.

Councillor Paul Watson, leader of Sunderland City Council, said: “SaleCycle is absolute proof that you do not need to be based in London to grow a global business. From its Sunderland base, it is building an enviable client list, putting the city on the map globally as a place for innovative technology businesses.

“The business is impressive, it has a fantastic product and incredible customer service. It is its ability to attract highly skilled people that is helping SaleCycle to continue to expand rapidly and that is in no small part down to the talented workforce we have here in the North East.”

SaleCycle’s on-site remarketing and email remarketing solutions help online retailers to reconnect with consumers who abandon their shopping cart, booking or application form with personalised messages that prompt them to buy their forgotten purchases.
