RESIDENTS across Stockton-on-Tees are invited to take part in a consultation about the Borough’s open spaces.
From today (Thursday 24 March), Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Open Space Survey will be available for people to share their views.
During the consultation, residents will have the opportunity to give feedback on how often they use the Borough’s open spaces, their quality and accessibility, and what improvements they feel can be made.
Among the spaces included in the consultation are parks, play areas, allotments and community gardens, as well as other open spaces such as cemeteries and churchyards.
Councillor Mike Smith, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Housing, said: “We know how much residents value the range of open spaces we have across the Borough so we are really keen to hear their views.
“I would like to encourage people to complete the questionnaire and give their feedback so that we can continue to develop and improve our local outdoor spaces.”
The consultation will be open until Friday 29 April.
