Story Homes’ commitment to delivering outstanding housing developments has been recognised by the UK Property Awards, with the housebuilder’s Oakland Park development in Morpeth winning the award for Best Residential Development in Northumberland.
Now in their 26th year, the UK Property Awards are renowned as the most demanding and rigorous in the property sector. The awards are judged by an independent panel of 70 industry experts, with judging focusing on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability.
Oakland Park, which is situated next to The Dell on the outskirts of Morpeth and features a collection of 39 executive homes, is the first of Story Homes’ sites across the UK to be built to its Signature specification.

Story Homes now has 11 developments across the North East, and also has sites across Cumbria, South Scotland and the North West. Already a winner of several UK Property Awards, Story Homes is one of the most commended house builders in the country.
The developer will compete against the other regional winners to be recognised in the Residential Development category. The national winners will be announced at the London Lancaster Hotel on 27 October 2017.
