Tharsus Group’s complex metal fabrication business, Tharsus Engineering has today announced that it has changed its name to Universal Wolf to better reflect the company’s brand ethos, values and commitment to customers.

In addition, the company has unveiled a new corporate identity and website, available at http://www.universalwolf.com

This change has been made to allow the company to further strengthen its competitive advantage through differentiation. With a unique brand proposition that demonstrates its business values and ethos, Universal Wolf is confident it will continue to be a leader of the pack.

Symbolising the company’s ‘passion for better’ – a universally shared drive at the heart of the business to consistently find better ways to make its customers’ products better, the name Universal Wolf originates from a Shakespearean term for ambition and appetite.

Peter Sayer, Universal Wolf Director, explains, “We believe Universal Wolf reflects the energy and spirit of our business and is a name and identity that will be more easily identifiable when potential customers are in the market looking for new supply chain partners.”

“Hungry to achieve better, we are a business that stands out for working together and tirelessly for our customers. We wanted a name that would not only allow people to remember who we are, but also one that communicates our entire essence, history and values all at once.”

He continued: “The UK has seen an increase in manufacturing as the current exchange rate makes goods and services more competitive for overseas businesses.

“These opportunities combined with an unprecedented increase in competition in the fast moving, commoditised industry sectors gives us all the more reason to stand out from the crowd and highlight what we have to offer our customers.”

Brian Palmer, CEO Tharsus Group, said: “This is a major step in our strategy to differentiate Universal Wolf from the competition. We’ve always been proud of the way we deliver complex fabrication products for our customers and the skill and expertise of our team is second-to-none.”

“We’re growing our business strongly on the back of our ability to partner with our customers, understand what they really need and deliver the highest quality products. The new name captures everything that we’ve always been as a business and also puts down a marker that we’re different.”

Universal Wolf remains part of Tharsus Group and both Tharsus Group and Tharsus Limited will continue to trade under the Tharsus name.
