North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Thirsty Thursday 5th birthday celebrations.

Stokesley’s award-winning business network group Thirsty Thursday celebrated it’s fifth birthday last night with its tradition of prosecco and cupcakes for all.

The monthly business network event has been run by local business owner, Sue Thompson of Catch Design Management since 2015, after she and her colleague spotted a need for a local business event to bring together local Stokesley businesses. The free meetings are always held at The Mill, in Stokesley and attract a wide variety of businesses from the High Street, the local Business Park and many home workers.

The event is always well attended and offers a range of speakers each month who share their experiences and knowledge with the group.

The Birthday event is always even more relaxed than usual with some tasty treats to share and a chance to reflect on the business connections made by all.

The next event will be in January 2020 at the same venue and is free for all businesses from Stokesley and the surrounding villages to attend.

Sue Thompson said:

“I am delighted to have reached our milestone 5th birthday and have enjoyed meeting so many businesses from around the area with new ones coming each month. We plan to continue into 2020 with our speakers list filling up nicely for next year. If you have never made it yet, make it your businesses new year resolution and join us.”
