Transflex invests in new fleet of vans for Greenbank

Light commercial vehicle rental company, Transflex, has invested £75,000 in new vans on behalf of Middlesbrough-based Greenbank, for its team of field service engineers.

The Teesside-based waste management company, Greenbank has added a further three Ford Transit Trend models to its existing fleet, now totalling eight vehicles. The fleet expansion will help Greenbank increase its capacity to continue to deliver outstanding services across the region.

Transflex provides businesses with flexible commercial vehicle hire, the company’s headquarters is located in Stockton-On-Tees. It also operates branches across the UK in Buckingham, Warrington and Bristol – which opened on 12 June 2017.

The new vans are fully equipped with tool racking systems, improved security locks and inverters which allow Greenbank engineers to operate independently when onsite.

Phil Jones, service manager at Greenbank, said: “I’ve dealt with Transflex for six years now, they have consistently exceeded my expectations by going the extra mile. Transflex’s onsite servicing facility allows minimal disruption to our field engineers, downtime is essentially non-existent.

“Our field engineers are based throughout the UK, we often deal with all four Transflex branches and the attention to personal service is consistent in each location.”

Gary Henry, sales director at Transflex, said: “At Transflex we pride ourselves on producing tailored solutions that meet the precise requirements of our clients. It’s been a pleasure working with Greenbank over the past six years. We’ve added to their existing fleet – meeting their bespoke requirements which allows their business to operate efficiently.

“It’s important to us that we tailor our rental packages to suit the individual needs of our clients rather than an ‘off the shelf’ solution. We look forward to working with Greenbank again in the future.”
