A trio of north east sporting legends are joining forces for one night only, to raise funds and awareness for local substance misuse charity, PROPS NE.
PROPS – Positive Response to Overcoming Problems of Substance misuse – are celebrating their 20th anniversary and to celebrate this, have pulled together a fantastic evening of entertainment with former NUFC goalkeeper Steve Harper, former world boxing champion Glenn McCrory and former England and Durham cricketer, Steve Harmison. Charity patron, Sky Sports’ Pete Graves, will be hosting the evening, chatting to the sporting legends about their journeys in the world of sport.
Pete says “ This promises to be a fantastic event for the region and for PROPS. The charity does incredible work in Newcastle and North Tyneside, which affects many families from all walks of life. No doubt the guys will deliver an evening of brilliant entertainment!”
Being held at the newly refurbished Grey St Hotel, guests will enjoy prosecco and canapés on arrival, with a small spa showcase for the ladies. Tickets are priced at 25.00 per person.
Former world boxing champion, Glenn McCrory says “ I’m delighted to be involved in this sporting talk-in evening. It’s always great fun when the north east lads get together to reminisce about our sporting pasts.”
