The star of 1990s cult film, The Commitments, Andrew Strong, will be performing at a black tie dinner at Rockliffe Hall on Sunday 24th July.
Celebrating the 25 year anniversary of the film’s release, Andrew and the band are flying over especially from Ireland to take guests on a musical journey in what will be one of their most intimate gigs.
The event will take place in the resort’s stunning Rockliffe Suite, and will include a delicious three course dinner, a fantastic set by Andrew Strong and The Commitments and a disco until 1am.
Ticket prices start at £150 per person with the top package including VIP arrival with a glass of Champagne, a meet and greet with Andrew and front row seats for the performance. Overnight packages are also available.
The Commitments was released in 1991 to critical acclaim with the sound track selling over 12 million copies around the world. The film went on to become a hugely successful musical which still tours to this day. Andrew was also nominated for a Grammy Award and a BAFTA.
There will be 140 tickets for this event, which are now on pre-sale for Rockliffe Hall members and go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday 8th June by calling 01325 729999.
The event will start at 7pm with carriages at 1am.
