A MULTI-MILLION pound spa due to open this summer at a leading North East hotel is looking to recruit more than 70 new staff.
The Spa at Ramside will be opening its doors in July and has now embarked on a major recruitment campaign to look for employees to work in a whole range of areas.
The spa, part of a massive development at Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham, will be one of the most luxurious in the region, offering a range of treatments and experiences that will be available in the North East for the first time.
Jobs available include fitness coaches and personal trainers, spa butlers, chefs and restaurant workers and spa reception and reservations staff.
“The Spa at Ramside is going to be absolutely stunning,” said Jill Russell, Spa Director at Ramside.
“And that’s why we are looking for the very best staff to be part of this amazing development.”
When complete, The Spa at Ramside will include a full size 25m swimming pool, large hydrotherapy pool, six thermal experience rooms including a glass sided amphitheatre sauna, fully equipped life fitness gym and two exercise studios.
It will also offer a weekly programme of over 40 varied classes including aerial yoga along with its own Spa Herb Garden complete with terrace and Vitality pool.
The development includes 14 treatment rooms, a light relaxation room complete with a balcony infinity pool, a beauty snug including nail studio, a dark relax room with soundwave therapy and sleep pods and a mud Rasul chamber which can be enjoyed by groups of up to four people.
