One of Jesmond’s most popular venues is celebrating Easter with its biggest ever Party on the Patio.
Osborne Road’s New Northumbria Hotel – home to the Mexican-inspired El Paso restaurant and Osborne’s bar – is opening its entire terrace for the event, on Easter Sunday, 21 April.
And, along with live sax music, fully loaded outdoor bars and a shisha garden, some of the region’s top DJs will be taking to the decks indoors with music to suit all tastes.
The party on the patio will kick off at 12 noon with outdoor bars serving margarita cocktails, spirits, beer and cider, while the venue’s chefs cook up a storm at a series of barbecues.
Partygoers will also be able to unwind in the hotel’s shisha garden before heading inside at 2pm to listen to the sounds of Jam DJ, DJ Lowell, DJ Walia, DJ Blackstar and DJ Cee.
Business Development Manager, Fabian Pritchard, said the party on the patio will be a first for the venue, which is owned by Newcastle-based Malhotra Group plc.
“We were insanely busy on St Patrick’s Day,” he said, “and so we decided to look at ways of really pushing the boat out at Easter.
“Not only are we opening up all the venues at the site, but we are also adding three extra outdoor bars,” he said.
“And with all the food and music we’re laying on, no-one really needs to go anywhere else.”
No tickets are required for the event, which is sponsored by Smirnoff, and further information can be found at marketing@malhotragroup.co.uk.
