Mike Matthews MBE, Managing Director of Nifco and Andrew Hebden, Deputy Agent of the Bank of England North East Region will both give their unique perspectives on business at a double bill event for Service Network members and non-members on 20 September 2017 at Ramside Hall, Durham.
Mike Matthews has taken Nifco from being a loss making automotive company to one which employs more than 650 people with a £71m turnover. Mike will talk through the challenges and highlights of his experience with Nifco and his thoughts on the wider business sector, gained through his close relationships with local businesses as past president of the North East of England Chamber of Commerce.
Andrew Hebden, Deputy Agent of the Bank of England, is in touch with the performance of regional businesses and trends in each sector. His expertise in understanding and forecasting the financial outlook for businesses will make for an enlightening talk. Before joining the Bank in 2013 Andrew was the CBI’s Assistant Director for the North East following 11 years in journalism.
This special double bill of business leaders is the launch event for Service Network’s autumn season of presentations, seminars and network events.
Jamie Ollivere of RTC North said: “We’re delighted to begin the autumn programme with such a strong double bill, featuring two of the leading organisations in the regional business world.
“Mike Matthews and Andrew Hebden both have huge knowledge and understanding of North East companies and it will be a fascinating, lively and informative event.”.
