North East’s longest standing independent IT firm completes MBO

Leading WiFi technology specialist, KBR, has announced the successful completion of a management buyout (MBO) from its management team.

New owners Gareth Tomlin (Managing Director) and Ruth Tomlin (Sales Director), are now in the midst of implementing plans to significantly expand the business. They aim to use their prior experience and knowledge, as well as strategic partnerships to rapidly increase sales growth and deploy a new marketing plan.

Specialising in an array of technology solutions for both private and public sectors, KBR’s services include WiFi technology, network security, CCTV, AV and managed services. Established over 30 years ago, KBR is one of the region’s longest standing independent IT firms.
