Square One Law has advised on a property deal that will create a specialist advanced manufacturing facility in the West Midlands.
Highbridge Properties and the Homes & Communities Agency have sold a 107,000 sq ft hi-tech office and research headquarters development at Ansty Park in Coventry to FANUC UK, a leading global manufacturer of automation and industrial robotic solutions.
The 107,000 sq. ft. building has been sold for an undisclosed price and will be developed by Highbridge Properties in partnership with HCA on a seven acre landscape site with completion due early next year. The building will comprise a 56,000 sq. ft. design, manufacturing and training facility, 43,000 sq. ft. offices and an 8,000 sq. ft. showroom area.

Ansty Park is one of the UK’s leading technology business parks and home to the Manufacturing Technology Centre, the Aerospace Research Centre, the High Temperature Research Centre and the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre, as well as the Sainsbury’s Store Development Centre and a circa 200,000 sq. ft. building, currently under construction, for the London Taxi Company where it will develop electric black cabs.
