Award-winning housebuilder, Story Homes, is bringing 139 new homes to land at Stainsby Hall Farm in Middlesbrough.
Story Homes has already successfully brought its range of high quality homes to the town, having launched its Kingsbrook Wood development at Stainsby Hall Farm in summer 2014.
The new site connects to this existing development, where all 126 three and four-bedroom homes have now been sold and final residents are moving in. Kingsbrook Wood was the second of Story Homes’ sites to launch in the North East and is the second in the region to be fully sold.
Middlesbrough Council approved the housebuilder’s detailed proposals to build the additional homes in September this year, and construction work has now started.
The new development, named Brookfield Woods, will feature a mix of house types, including three, four and five-bedroom detached and semi-detached family homes.
The scheme also includes delivery of a landscaped country park area for the benefit of both local people and new residents.
Gillian Bell, Sales Manager at Story Homes, said: “We are delighted to announce our Brookfield Woods development and are looking forward to releasing the first plots for sale in the New Year.
“Kingsbrook Wood has been very popular since it launched three years ago and now has a thriving community. With this development sold out, we are pleased to be able to offer homes at the neighbouring Brookfield Woods to families looking to move to the area. We expect the demand for our high quality properties in this sought-after location to continue, and we will be releasing more details about the homes available very soon.”
As well as boosting the area’s housing supply, Brookfield Woods will also deliver economic benefits back into the local area by supporting existing local businesses and employing local subcontractors and suppliers.
